A short ride with Sourav Mondal to recce the last section of the Gauribidanur 200 (Non-ACP) Brevet.
Unusually late start, belted out till Hoskote on Old Madras road, then a spot of breakfast at a Darshini on the Chintamani Road. Lots of time wasted hunting for ATMs at Hoskote. Smooth roads till Mandur, where we were swamped by the stench from the mountains of garbage. No wonder the locals are protesting! Some terrible sections till Bagalur - Sourav actually got off and walked in places.
Some more bad roads till Yelahanka, and then a fast return to IISc in time for lunch. Holiday well spent, about 80k total!
